W.I.P.
Work in progress: A house in the mountains, sited amongst gnarly gums all bent-sideways by the prevailing wind.
Charred cladding, crafted hardwood reveals, secret hatches and a tower for sleeping. The house hovers above the ferns and merges into the trees. Different bits open-up to capture light and sun, then bunker down against the chilly night air. Convection draws the warmth into the sleeping tower.
Beautifully crafted by Loughlin and his team.
